Anthology of Emo
To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Washed Up Emo→ podcast, host Tom Mullen compiled a selection of interviews and rare visual artifacts to create Anthology of Emo, his inaugural printed book.
Order was asked to create a sophisticated visual language for a genre often portrayed as immature and angsty — one that would counter these classifications, and elevate the book's credibility as a legitimate historical resource.
Volume 1 includes members from bands such as The Promise Ring→, Rainer Maria→, The Get Up Kids→, American Football→, and more.
Future volumes will include a range of artists spanning the past two decades.
