NYCTA Objects
In 2017, Standards Manual partnered with photographer Brian Kelley to produce and publish its fourth title, New York City Transit Authority: Objects. The book features Kelley’s photographs of over 400 artifacts from New York City’s historic Subway system, which he began collecting in 2011.

Collaborators
Objects was born out of a project that Kelley started in 2011 — The NYCTA Project→ — where he collected and documented metrocards from the MTA’s history.
Kelley posted a photo-a-day through the project’s Instagram account, and eventually the subject matter grew to other ephemera such as hats, jackets, maps, and more.
The book includes an introduction by Eric Greene.
